Get Involved

REALTORS® play a vital role in serving as volunteer leaders. Through board and/or committee participation, members help shape the association, enjoy networking opportunities with fellow REALTOR® and Affiliate members, and give back to the community.

Use the Committee Interest Form to join a BBOR committee or to request additional details such as estimated time commitment, meeting dates/times, etc..  Alternatively, you may contact the BBOR office:  info@homefinder.org

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS

This committee monitors local government policy issues that relate to the real estate industry, keep directors and members informed on key issues that impact the practice of real estate, and encourage support for “calls to action”.

REALTOR POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE (RPAC)

Realtors® on the RPAC committee invest in the support of electing political candidates who have an understanding and are supportive of industry-related issues.

SOCIAL

Members of the social committee suggest and select guest speakers for BBOR’s general membership meetings, coordinate the BBOR Annual Awards Banquet including the solicitation of sponsors, and facilitate educational or social events throughout the year for BBOR members.

EDUCATION

The Education Committee supports BBOR staff in coordinating presenters and evaluating curriculum for the quarterly new Realtor® orientation classes. Committee members recommend and evaluate technology resources to improve efficiencies and assist members with their business. This committee works in conjunction with the Social Committee to plan events to help educate BBOR members on real-estate related issues or trends.
